Just making a thread here to note down all of my brilliant ( or terrible ) ideas i have that could be implemented into PMAN.

Just quick notes etc

- In members, sorting by active should sort by last login

- New page for for inserting API keys to do checkouts without people being in corp so we can check out possible recruits and dont have to use third party site, also would be nice to have preset links to "http://eve-search.com/search/CHARACTERNAME" that link can have spaces if there is a space in the name. And sales forum "http://eve-search.com/search/CharName/forum/734105" if there is space in charname there then % between spaces first%last
Would save some time to just be able to click them instead of having to copy paste names.

- Automatic updates atleast twice a day to check if keys are still what they are, and some sort of notification if they change from valid to invalid, some sort of log.

- Not really for PMan but when we recruit someone we really should make him fill out a form on our website so we can check more easily who's alt is who's, and to solve bots or some shit like that we could just put password on it and give it out to people. Would really help keep track of things.

Ill post some more in this thread if i think of something else, or if i find bugs or anything.

Bug:
i changed alt status from xSEARSYx on Simon Pieman and Stupid1324 to Simon Pieman being alt of Stupid1324, since xSEARSYx is sold.
Then i try to import keys having Stupid1324 as main but they dont show up in chars sections

After importing new key from magz, his old characters did not update in PMAN but one new character that he had updated.

Cross check if people have submitted api with membercount of main characters in corp.

Because today for example i found out that a few people have been recruited and we dont have their api key.

-> cronjob runs for this 4 times a day (running since 2 weeks allready), the cronjob itself writes a log of what it does.
-> cronjob now checks for changes:
if there is a modification it sets a flag to Y (ModifiedYN) and stores the datetime of the modification.
You can see this now at Chars: there is a new row called "Mod".
It will change to a "Y" and be highlighted red when:
- Key Validation changes
- key type changes
- access mask changes
- expiry changes

Bug:

-> It was not intended that someone sells his "Main" character. I have deleted the entries in the database related to xSearsy and have reinserted the keys now attached to Stupid1234

I deleted keys/chars from BradAss and did reinsert, worked so far.

Interesting is, that on both accounts there is only one single character!!!

at PMAN Chars you can now select 'Show Chars', 'Insert Key' AND 'Check Key'.
If u use 'Check Key' and submit a key and code, the following steps run:
- check to get the xml from ccp, error-handling if fails
- check if the key is valid, error-handling if key is shit
- check if characters are on this account, error-handling if no chars on account
- if it gets characters it offers you a selector with the character-names
- choose character and go on with the 2nd selector for checking the different sheets

select a character for fullcheck via 'Show Chars' or 'Check Key'.
go to 'Character Sheet'.
On the top there are now 'Extenal Links'.
Atm its the two links Johnny suggested + 2 links to battleclinic and eve-kill.net

btw: % is not needed for space in name, causes error when doing this.
